The world’s finest jewellery is handmade, one piece at a time. To be considered “Handmade Jewellery” an item must be fabricated from raw metal by me, using only tools that are controlled by my hand.
The lost art of goldsmithing fine handmade jewellery requires highly skilled labour to manually control tools and to transform your precious metals rings into miniature works of art.
The traditional use of molds and casting prefabricated parts will not be used in the spirit of old world craftsmanship.
In my workshop raw gold will be smelted, refined and alloyed into bar. This precious metal bar will then be wrought and forged into the desired shape making your rings true matching pair as they are forged from the same gold. These precision pieces are then soldered and welded at extreme temperatures by myself to create your matching rings.
Your rings will be from a single piece of precious metal that is hand rolled with mills and pulled through draw plates, the metal is then filed sanded and tooled. The completed handmade rings will undergo acid etching and polishing. In the end, your matching rings are completed in the same way as it was done 2000 years ago, using only hand tools and eye.
Each ring will be presented in a wood and leather presentation box
